Men, Don’t Be Tools

Stand up and set a standard for purity for your generation.  Humble yourself and get accountable.  

My heart breaks over these stats:

  • 12% of the websites on the internet are pornography.  That’s 24,644,172 sites.
  • Worldwide pornography revenue in 2006 was $97.06 billion.  Of that, approximately $13 billion was in the US
  • Every second $3,075.64 is being spent on pornography
  • The pornography industry has larger revenues than Microsoft, Google, Amazon, eBay, Yahoo, Apple, and Netflix combined.
  • Of 1351 pastors surveyed, 54% had viewed Internet pornography within the last year.
  • The largest group viewing online pornography is ages 12 to 17.
  • 70% of men aged 18-24 visit porn sites in a typical month.
  • Child pornography is one of the fastest growing businesses online, and the content is becoming much worse.
  • There are 116,000 searches for “Child Pornography” every day.
  • 25% of all search engine requests are pornography related.  That’s 68 million a day.

Men, don’t be a coward.  Evidently, you’re we’re not alone.  Get accountable with pornography, get X3 Watch on your computer, and seek the Lord for healing and deliverance.

Psalms 119v9-11:

“How can a young man keep his way pure?  By guarding it according to your word.  With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!  I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.”

My friend, Tony Seigh, put it bluntly:

If your computer causes you to stumble, shut it off and throw it away; for it is better for you to lose one piece of technology, than for your whole body to go into hell.

Now’s the time to stand up, wake up, and be the man God has called you to be.
